Hotel information

The hotel is located close to Blankenese, on Hamburg's most famous road, the Elbchaussee. Situated on a hill, it overlooks the river Elbe. Of all of the city’s buildings, it is one of the most steeped in history. The topic of art is prominent here: the impressionist Max Liebermann stayed here in 1902, when he captured the view of the Elbe in oil. Today the hotel is home to one of the largest private art collections in northern Germany.

Food & Beverage

Critics have hailed "Jacobs Restaurant" as the best dining establishment in North Germany In our wine tavern "Kleines Jacob" you can enjoy large meals and smaller delicacies within an informal atmosphere, together with international wines. From our renowned linden terrace, which has been captured in oil by both Daniel Louis Jacques (1791) and Max Liebermann (1902), you can enjoy a wonderful view of the Elbe within leafy surroundings. In "Jacobs Bar" you can enjoy classic drinks, cocktails, wine, champagne, sherry and rare port. During good weather, the bar extends to the terrace. Table reservation is essential for both restaurants.

Continental breakfast is not included and costs EUR 18.50 per person. Buffet breakfast is not included and costs EUR 25.50 per person.
